Never mind the ignorant people posting the laughing icon, they have excepted American money and other contributions from America, whom helps the world and they show no respect, this may change, as taxpayers are asking themselves why help your enemy? Thank you for this post. With so much disrespect toward our country and our flag today, it’s a nice reminder for everyone of how it is supposed to be treated. I for one am proud of our country and our flag. Thank you! So often we do things without realizing that there is a responsibility to handle things like this with respect. Now those who weren’t aware have a better understanding. People need to learn how to treat real humans with proper respect, rather than bowing down to this beacon of white supremacy, genocide, colonialism, war, and patriarchy.

Growing up in the 60s and the 70s we had flag monitors who put up the American flag I’m gonna need another beer to wash down this beer shirt flag in the morning and took it down in the afternoon, today’s offspring don’t have a clue because schools have dropped the ball! Actually, it says the flag should not be part of a costume (meaning an actual flag) nor should it be depicted or imprinted on any item that is disposable or will be sat on. However, there are many ways to honor the flag by wearing the colors of the flag. No one respects the flag. You see them flying all tattered and ripped or even people using them as boxer shorts. And look at those thin blue line that law enforcement supporters use. To change the colors is a violation of the US Flag Code but no one cares, just change things to fit the individual’s messages. My grandfather was a career Naval officer who fought in WWll, Korea, and one tour in Vietnam. He was in Pearl Harbor when it was attacked and his ship went down. He was then reassigned to the USS KUWISHAWEE and after the second war was over, was stationed in Okinawa for about 15 years. I didn’t get to meet my grandpa until 1966 and then only briefly as he was gone again. When he came back in 1972, we were inseparable and I learned so much from him. He died in 1977 and the Navy buried him with a 21 gun salute and played Taps. We couldn’t have been more proud of him for his service and dedication to our Country. I still miss him today. My husband, David, is a deceased Marine who did 3 tours in Vietnam. All military deserves our respect for guarding our freedoms. Many have died for the country beneath her flag. All too many people today have little respect for it. To those who would burn our flag, I encourage them to visit a VA hospital and see the American flag I’m gonna need another beer to wash down this beer shirt price of freedom. Always, show respect for our military by thanking them for their service.
