fatphobia? Lol But as a general rule even though there are exceptions being fat is unhealthy for you and is an indicator of a lack of self-control in the calorie Department. Basic biology and physics state that if you don’t input more calories than you use you will not gain weight. I am a fat person. LOL. People trying to make me feel good about being fat does not help me become healthy. I have PCOS..which made me overweight and hairy. At 13. I didn’t even understand it then..I had a full grown neck beard, sideburns, all fucking over. Been shoved into a locker room by 6 girls who took the time out of their day..to WRITE A LIST OF EVERYTHING WRONG WITH ME. Took turns reading it. Fat, hairy.. I was told to kill myself cause no one wanted to see my ugly face. So PCOS .side effects of being fat and hairy..made me depressed. Prozac at 15. I’m 32..still overweight and hairy. I still get made fun of. If I’m walking down the street..checking my mail..but I’ve come to realize that the Yes I’m plus size yes I have stretch marks yes my thighs touch shirt ones making fun, harassing…saying..why can’t u exercise/ eat right .welllllll.

They aren’t educated about conditions that make people overweight/hard to lose. Just be kind people! I’m sharing this with all of the local news channels I follow here in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are all guilty of doing the headless shots of overweight people walking whenever doing related stories. I think this piece is fantastic. Two years ago I was 80lbs heavier and felt a lot of the fears and embarrassment these women spoke about. Literally, anybody who spoke to me or about me commented on my weight (including strangers). It becomes really obvious that it’s not genuine concern just an excuse to speak badly or down to me. Even my doctors were condescending and blamed a bad diet. It took research; finding a new doctor that properly diagnosed a hormone problem (PCOS); real support from friends and family and a great trainer to lose my weight and feel healthy.

A conversation concerning a person’s healthy weight should be saved for doctors and patients or close friends and families not for the general public to judge and feign concern. Thank you for doing this piece. I have had doctors do this to me my entire life. I had gained 30 pounds in a month and it turned out I had Hypothyroidism. I asked how I could lose the weight and he nastily told me to stop eating french fries. I didn’t even eat french fries! I have always had problems with my weight even though I eat less than most people I know. Yet, my blood sugar is low, my blood pressure is perfect. I am so tired of the judgment of others especially when you can’t help it. U know I think this is condoning bad eating habits ..obesity is not very healthy..we now let people just be fat and it’s ok!!!! Sad it’s unhealthy to say the least..being fat is like being a drug addict or alcoholic or another addiction..so please stop making it ok to be fat… I love this show I’m sure it’s funny but being fat is no joking matter..are these women or men happy about it..I doubt If you truly want this B-roll to be widely used, please apply for a Creative Commons license so it can be used without people needing to seek permission first or wonder if there’s going to be a fee associated. There should be nothing wrong with living healthier and doing better. Adopting a vegan lifestyle is the way to go. However, I know vegans who are overweight due to genes, so it’s not always an issue of diet. The Yes I’m plus size yes I have stretch marks yes my thighs touch shirt thing I don’t like is big corporations making money by selling animal-based foods and other junk food everywhere. Fish, beef, chicken are bad. Then there are processed, salty, and sugary foods. They’re made readily available at every corner of every neighborhood. Fruits and vegetables in limited supply. This also helps big pharma. It’s a money-making machine that cares less about life, human and nonhuman.
